The vision is to provide motivation, guidance, and financial encouragement to the underprivileged, marginalized, and economically disadvantaged students, to continue their education and holistic development in order to serve the greater cause of building the foundation for a brighter tomorrow.
The scholarship will be provided to a maximum of 30 fellows for the academic session of 2024-25, which will include financial help of Rs. 1000 to Rs. 5000 (depending upon the applicant's profile), a certificate of merit, and gifts of appreciation. These selected fellows will also receive mentorship, assistance, and guidance in preparing for competitive exams like JNVST ↗.
We may also conduct special classes, counseling sessions, and workshops for our fellows to provide them exposure to topics like Basics of Computing, Personal and Community Hygiene, Artificial Intelligence, Sustainability Goals and Practices, Yoga and Meditation, Judicious and Right Use of Internet, Importance of Compassion and Inclusivity, Daily Requirements of Nutrition and Healthy Food Choices, Effective Communication, Daily Reading and Writing, Problem Solving Attitude, Power of Imagination etc.
Fellow Selection
Criteria
The list of fellows will be finalized by a core committee based on the following points of priority

Academic Eligibility
Students currently in classes 4 & 5 for the 2024-25 academic year, with a record of good academic and co-curricular performance, are eligible to apply.
School Type
Students studying in the government schools will be given priority, but students from private schools will also be considered.
Family Income
Total family income must not exceed Rs. 3 lakhs per year from all income sources.
Priority for Orphaned Students
Orphans (students who have lost both parents) with strong academic records will receive top priority.
Single-Parent Children
Students with single parents are encouraged to apply and will be prioritized.
Students with Disabilities
Students with a disability of 40% or more, as certified by a competent authority, will be given preference.
Community and Social Background
Priority will be given to students from ST, SC, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) backgrounds, as well as students from minority communities.
Rural Area Preference
Students from rural areas will be prioritized over those from urban locations.
School Attendance Record
Applicants with good attendance in the past two academic years will be preferred.
Parents' Occupation
Preference will be given to students whose parents work as farmers, sanitary workers, daily wage workers, or social workers.
Parents' Health Conditions
Special consideration will be given to students whose parents have physical disabilities or suffer from critical illnesses (such as cancer, cardiac diseases, mental health disorders, or other conditions) that affect their earning ability.
Extraordinary Achievements
Students with notable extraordinary achievements in sports, arts, or literature will be given special consideration. (Please note: Social media content creators are not eligible.)
